So good, thought I would steal it!

"Families are the ultimate basis of any society, so to the degree that families are destroyed, so is the society destroyed.....a present weakness of western culture (that would be the U.S.) is the accelerating breakdown of families. Every Christian should be strong in upholding families."

I need to remember this always.

THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS PRECIOUS BOY!!!!

Happy Valentines Day!

First let's just start off with I'm a true hater of Valentines Day! I don't think that there should be all this pressure to buy gifts or tell of your un-dying love for the one you love on this one day a year. I prefer to be told this everyday from my husband and, sure, who doesn't want a little something each day of the year. My husband on the other hand is the opposite and I secretly love that he likes the holiday because he always tries to make it a little special despite my protest.

Well we have been super busy and I have been super lazy about updating this blog. Seems like life just flows by. We've been to the stock show, painted the kitchen, had an ice storm, JT and daddy got a fancy new guitar, the boys also created a new game called "couch ball", JT got his first skinned knee and mommy went to Ikea for a cute little table and chairs for the little blondie of the house. Since pictures are way better than words, I let you see what we've been doing rather than tell you.

We'll start first with the painting we did in the kitchen....the ol blue. Of course the kitchen looks awesome in this picture because there is no clutter around. This was last summer when we were trying to sell it and had showings everyday.

The new color in the kitchen.....Oatbran! Pictures all over the fridge does make it look messy, plus with stuff all over the counter tops doesn't help much more. It really is a great color.

Sitting at my new table with my daddy eating. I pat the chair and tell him "tit, tit" and then I climb into my chair....I like to run the show

I hope daddy doesn't break my chair!!

The ice melting from the drops of water off the roof....ice storms are weird!

Just workin....I like to tell the person on the other end of my mouse "by, tell, by, tell" (buy, sell, buy, sell).....daddy taught me that! I keep my pistol right on my desk just in case things get out of hand, have to be a regulator y'all. I also like to run from mommy when she wants to change my diaper, then wait in my room for her to come and shoot her with it (pish, pish)....daddy taught me that too! He's a great guy!

We went to the Ft Worth Stock Show a few weekends ago and the cows there sure were a lot bigger than the ones in my books.

OK, I got the hang of this cow stuff, now buy us some land daddy, so I can get one and make it fetch for the ball like Copper

Me and daddy just hanging out....did I mention he's my BFF?

I can't read those big words on the bottom, but mommy says it has something to do with the cold place we go visit lots and she & daddy were surprised people would come that far to show their cows to Texans

The star of the Ft Worth Stock Show....Rusty the Longhorn!!

How to play "couch ball"....1) climb up on couch while holding ball (looks easier than it really is for little dude like me) 2)throw all the pillows off onto the floor 3) stand on couch looking tough with ball 4) bounce ball off wall behind couch 5) laugh histerically

Jammin on my new guitar....me and daddy are rock stars when we play with it....he's teaching me how to kick my leg up too when I'm playing it

I love the whammy bar

I'm a destroyer....check out what I did to my room. Mommy came running cause it got real quiet.....no worries mommy, I took a break from making a mess and climbed up on my chair to talk to Copper out back.

My friend Abram pulling me through the back yard in the wagon. Our daddies hung out one morning while our mommies went to a luncheon. Our mommies called it a "play date" but our dad's are way to tough for a sissy word like that.

I was mad that mommy was snapping a picture of me when I first woke up, so I showed her....I just turned my head away from the camera so she can't get my cute little face. By the way, this is my first skinned knee. I was running after my neighbor friend, Sabastian, then tripped and got my first sign of man hood....chics dig scars!

Just like daddy, get a little food in me and I start acting nice again and let Mommy take a picture of my face. Daddy says that it's our blood sugar dropping and we can't think of anything else but our bellies. We act nice again after we eat a little.

The weather in Texas is crazy. It's been really warm so we played outside most days. I love to splash in the water bucket mommy fills for me, but my pants get soaked so she strips me down before I start.....have I ever mentioned how much I love to be naked?!

Just a swinging!
