We had a little pre-birthday celebration for little JT here in Texas with some friends. Since we are leaving on Saturday and his official birthday is Friday, we decided to have his party last weekend. It was also a surprise 30th birthday party for Travis, which he turned on the 15th this month.
Since our house has a pool and it wasn't a swimming party, none of my friends were fired up about having to navigate their toddlers around it. So my friend Brooke graciously offerered her HUGE backyard for the birthday shin-dig....we had a ton of fun, and thanks for all your help Brooke, you're such a great friend!! Brooke is also a Yankee living here in Texas. She's from Idaho Falls, ID, so it's nice to have a friend to complain about the HUMID August temperatures with ;-)

Brooke slicing up the birthday cake. Not only did she let us have it at our her house but she did pretty much all the work. I don't deserve a friend like her, really!

JT visiting one of his littlest friend that came to the party....baby Casen (by the way, like the shirt JT has on? Travis got it at Target for him, so funny!)

The party. Travis and I got JT the Coaster that Brody is riding on in the bottom left corner. Below is some video of the kids riding it.

The birthday cakes!! JT's sunday school teacher, Victoria Walker, made these. She is awesome. If you want her #, please let me know. I guess she can make just about anything.

JT wanted nothing to do with eating his cake. He did like squishing the cake in his hand, but it wasn't going in his mouth! That's Brooke's little boy, Abram. He was showing JT how it's done since he's 2 now.

All Victoria's hard work and all he did was mash it, didn't even take one little bite

Travis's cake. it's 2 bundt cakes on top of each other with an ice cream cone stuff in the top upside down....wish I was that creative :-)

Happy birthday JT and Travis! Looks like y'all had a blast! And dude...why didn't they have those coaster things when we were kids??? Talk about FUN!!
Looks like you guys had tons of fun,,,,I am still bitter and sad that we had to miss it!
This post is absolutely worthless without a picture/video of Crissy riding JT's roller coaster.
We basically had to fight Crissy to get her off it so the 2 year olds could ride.
love the videos... happy b-day JT... a few days early. glad you had a great party, looks like fun.
